Kids Entertainment Rocks & Kids Ent Rocks records was created by Rasheed Wallace & Saddler Ward. The goal of building our brand is in order to restore family values, critical thinking, athleticism and good sportsmanship into children’s programming. Reflective content for underrepresented people of color is also at the top of the list when developing Apps, toys, video games, animation, VR, AR, books and other forms of media.

Rasheed Wallace
aka “Mr Ball Don’t Lie” is one of the most beloved NBA championship players of the last two decades. Known for his animated antics and knack for acquiring technical fouls on the court, Rasheed has always maintained a soft spot for children. For years Rasheed Wallace who wore the jersey number 30, bought thirty tickets at every home games for low income children. Rasheed left the league early to cheer for his children at their soccer and basketball games. His lifelong appreciation for coaching children and storytime with his daughter, gave birth to the book series “Honeydew and Marylu.” Currently, you can watch Rasheed as the most popular rated recurring guest star on TNT’s “Area 21” hosted by his long time friend and teammate Kevin Garnett.
Saddler Ward
has over a decade of experience in storytelling through children’s books, apps and animation including the Emmy Award winning PBS show Word World, Speed Racer Lives and MTV’s animated show Station Zero. Presently Ward provides animation for the top-rated nationwide telecast of Angela Yee interviews from The Power 105 Breakfast Club. Ward co-founded Kids Entertainment with former NBA great Rasheed Wallace, with the goal to teach children life lessons through fun and storytelling. Together with their children’s book series “Honeydew and Marylu,” the pair have traveled world wide to inspire underprivileged children through reading and education.
HONEYDEW & MARYLU
Follow the fun, family-friendly adventures of HoneyDew and MaryLu, two happy-go-lucky ten year olds, who are best friends and come from two very different family structures. HoneyDew is being raised by her mother and father along with two brothers and MaryLu lives in a single parent household, being raised by her mother. Together, they learn many lessons of life and love in positive tales of morality and friendship!

Dad/Mr Sheed
Honeydew & her brothers father. He’s a Basketball player, a high school coach and neighborhood block captain.
Mom- Honeydews Mother she’s an entrepreneur a loving mother and a real estate agent.
Mom- Marylu’s Mom she’s a caring mother Afrocentric nurturing mom and former computer programmer. She founded a venture capital group and is now a tech company startup owner.
Nana- Honeydews Grandma retired sweet lady that lives behind honeydews house but spends most days in the living room enjoying her twilight years with her grand kids. She loves television board games ♟ telling stories and crafts.
Brother- Honeydews’ big brother loves sports watching sports playing sports and giving honeydew & Marylu a hard time. He loves her but enjoys practical jokes and honeydew does not like that.
Waffles 🧇 Honeydews newly adopted puppy 🐶 . He sweet , curious, cute & cuddly but has not been trained and he has a lot to learn.
Munchkin- Marylu’s guinea pig that roams freely inside a plastic hamster ball.
Baddies - The NiteMares
Boogie Oogie Oogie Meister
B.O.O.M.- leader of the Baddies – owns a mattress store that decided if he scared kids he could talk their parents into buying more mattress. After of years of hustling parents he realized he liked scaring kids more than he enjoyed selling mattresses.
Boogie Mang Mang- just digs the night life and haunts little kids with disco music. He’s still upset that the music changed and dislikes kuds music of today.
Farty Artie- “the life of the party”- Bean dip is his favorite dish he just can’t get enough he haunts kids because they love to stay up late. Arties is referee to as the the midnight muncher. He’s a greedy guy who steals late night half eaten snacks , loves cookies and milk but is lactose intolerant – so the milk and ice cream give him gas.
Diabolical Dentist- professional tooth collector- after being obsessed with the tooth fairy she decided no longer to brush her teeth. She used to love hanging out with the tooth fairy and figures the more teeth she can collect the more time she can spend with the tooth fairy.
Principle Extra- A retired schoolteacher who was a bad student. He cheated his way to become a principle when the administration found out he was a fraud the school closed down he decided he could cause trouble in children’s dreams. . He loves to hear himself talk. This is a bad principle that loves tension, attention and detention!
Count Napula – a vampire that come to dreams during nap time he’s a single dad that bring his toddler everywhere he goes.
Baby Snags- an ankle biting baby vampire and because vampires hardly age he almost never grows old
